The family integrates advanced management and security functions that are similar to those of a managed switch, but less complex. The switches feature D Link Green 3.0 technology, which provide the added benefit of significant power savings. Additionally, the DGS 1500 28P's 101001000 Mbps ports are PoE enabled, offering ease of use and green features like Time based PoE, which shuts the power off at a predetermined times.
