Draytek Vigor 3100 SDSL RouterThe Vigor3100 is a RouterFirewall for G.SHDSL broadband supporting speeds up to 2.3Mbs. The Vigor3100 builds on the strong pedigree of DrayTek's ADSL and Broadband routers, including multi protocol VPN support, robust firewalling and flexible routing options. The Vigor3100 on SDSL is ideal for VPN or Server hosting where upstream speed is just as important as downstream. Regular ADSL has a typical upstream speed of only 0.25Mbs, regardless of your downstream speed up to 8Mbs this makes VPN operations such as PC remote access or SQL server access slow as your branch office or Teleworker can receive data at a maximum of 256Kbs even less after overheads and contention. With SDSL, upstream speeds are the same as downstream, so a 2Mbs SDSL line can transmit data to remote users at 2Mbs.
