Select the site worst affected and position the unit facing directly towards the area within 12 metres of it. 2. Ensure the unit is level i.e. not facing either up or down. 3. The unit needs to be fixed or mounted so that the PIR motion sensor lens is approximately 30 40cm above ground level. 4. The height of the unit can be adjusted using the different set up options built into the unit. 5. In areas of high activity or frequently passing traffic it maybe necessary to use the optional mains power to the unit . 6.
